Nepal Oil Corporation has barred bottling plants from dispatching full cylinders in the market.Along with the scarcity of the commodity, NOC had instructed bottling plants in October to dispatch only half-filled cylinders in the market so that more number of people could avail LPG.Capitalising on the situation of inadequate supply of liquefied petroleum gas from India and weak market monitoring in the country, LPG bottling plants have been supplying full cylinders of cooking gas in the black market.Cylinders of various brands of LPG that are fully refilled are easily available in the black market though

Duniyala Yadav, confirmed the death of three persons due to the unidentified illness.Two of them had died in course of treatment at the BP Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan while one died at Katari Hospital, Yadav said.A team of two doctors and five health workers were sent to Hardeni area from District Hospital Udayapur for studying the mysterious and deadly disease which has gripped the entire village in fear.Nirmala Rai of Hardeni – 2 was sent to Kathmandu after falling ill from the same disease. With more villagers getting infected, the disease is sending serious alarm bells. A seeming epidemic of an unidentified disease in Hardeni VDC, located at the western hilly region of the Udayapur district, has claimed at least three lives in 10 days.The deceased have been identified as Sabina Nepali, 30, of Hardeni – 2, Bhim Kumar Nepali, 18, and Ganga Bahadur Pariyar, 55.The unheard of disease started spreading from May 23, and in 10 days three persons have died, a local teacher, Nabin Karki said.The symptoms of the mysterious illness starts from swelling in the throat creating difficulties in respiration followed with swelling of the entire body after which the patients die within three to five days, said Krishna Prasad Khatri, a local of the area.District Health Office Udayapur Information Official,

She started journalism at the age of 7. Her mother used to take picture of the cr!m!nals and also take videos of Israel army making their life hard. She has shot many such videos. Then she uploaded them of Facebook, YouTube and other social media. She said, ‘I wanted to spread the news to the world that we are not terr^rist and the Israel army is suppressing us.’ Her Facebook page has 50 thousand likes.

Tribute to Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev

That seems to be the case with the hagiographical articles around King Birendra routinely published around June 1, the date of the palace massacre in 2001. Fifteen years on, such pieces continue to dwell more or less around one facet—that he was a decent human being. To give one example, there was a personal story yesterday by a general in his guard contingent extolling the generosity of the king for i) allowing a non-Pancha to speak in a mass gathering in Palpa, and ii) releasing an unlawfully detained journalist in Bhairahawa the day after the matter was brought to the king’s notice. All personal reminiscences about Birendra are quite similar in that they involve the king doing something bordering on the humane only to be taken as a sign of greatness.
